This New Moon is about the power of our will – what will we choose? And even if we choose the “good”, we still have to consider an “other” because good as an opposite to bad can still carry some of the same beliefs and behaviors. This isn’t the time to stick to either/or, this or that. It’s time to really commit to something other than, that is Divine and the power of love.
Venus just swung out of the degree of the New Moon & eclipse on August 21 in Leo and is now in Virgo. And the North Node is still in Leo. It’s all about the love, folks. Venus in Virgo makes it more focused, grounded, gives it more of a sense of purpose and sharing in a mother-earth caring kind of way that serves everyone and everything and serves us into the future, with healing and compassion.
Venus is in a wide orb conjunction with Mars in Virgo. So we’re looking at balance of the Divine Feminine and Masculine. With the emphasis on compassion, service to life, making the best of the resources we have and SHARING those resources (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual resources) with EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING. This New Moon really opens the door to the fact that we’re all the same when you get down to it. And at the same time that we’re all the same, we’re all also unique, having come to this planet Earth at this time, on this timeline, to express our unique power, love, creativity, and our special combination of colors that are released by the prism of our beings. And as for power? Well, the power is in love.
We’re feeling the feelings of others and Mama Earth right now, like we’ve never felt before. If you’re feeling sad, scared, overwhelmed, or any of the many other feelings going around, and it feels like these feelings are more than what you may have going on all by yourself, know that we can embrace them with the power of love; help them calm and release to all the allies we have around us – angels, the elementals, nature, our spirit guides and loving ancestors. We are not alone. We are loved, supported and have help.
This is really important: don’t lose sight of who you are even in the midst of all the chaos, turmoil, and fears going on. Stay your course of seeking and doing what your heart and soul call you to do. Stand up for, speak out for what is right – what is from love, compassion, caring for one another and the Earth. And at the same time, take care of yourself and what you are cultivating and manifesting in the world.
When you feel like your anger, pain, sadness or fears have taken you to a place beyond where you’ve ever gone before or to a place you never knew you could go to, then that’s the point of your own awakening, your own sort of cracking open for truly deep healing. This is the point where you know you’ve reached a kind of triple pronged fork in the road. Two directions are opposite one another and therefore carry basic energies that are the same and the third prong is a very different energy. One that does what’s right, what’s best, from a place of love and no drama. Doing the right thing because it’s the right thing.
Remember, we are in this world, but we are not of it. Of course we have to take care of things going on (yes, I intend to call our Senators about healthcare, for example). But we’re really here to focus on the love, focus on who you are and why you’ve come here. Reach out to others who are like you and be open to others reaching out to you who are like you. Insulate yourself but don’t isolate yourself. Focus on cultivating and sharing your gifts, your light, your love and your beauty.
