Other energies with this New Moon are about secrets, truth, more sensitive intuition, struggles with deep and old fears being triggered.
Do things that calm you and help you feel balanced. If you are struggling with your own focus in your mind, talk with a trusted friend. Allow others the space to own their thoughts and feelings – and understand what belongs to you versus what’s going on with someone else.
It feels like we need to make sure we ground ourselves and allow the energies to cool off, settle to the ground before we jump on them or we’ll burn out, get burned, or freeze up and become stuck.
There are a lot of strong feminine energies at work with this New Moon. Black Moon Lilith especially, plays a quiet but very powerful part in this cycle. BML (Black Moon Lilith) is in Capricorn and this plays out as greed. Pure and simple. Doing things because they satiate your (individual and group) deep need for having all of it. Without compassion or consideration for anyone or anything else.
At this degree of Capricorn, oddly enough, while BML usually brings distruption that is “bad”, this “bad” disruption can lead to an awakening, an awareness that what has been gained by violence, war, greed, has severe consequences. Along with this, there is a force of light – symbolized by a rose stained glass window with light streaming through it. The glass window of war is broken, symbolizing light breaking through a destructive situation.
Regardless of whatever else is going on, this New Moon has energies rumbling beneath it that indicate awakenings, shifts in society and consciousness, light making its way through the dark. It has come through the guise of pain and destruction, but the changes are happening. While much has been difficult, painful, upending, and may continue to be so for some time, there is a purpose and the light is breaking through.
Mercury in Sag is bringing us changes in how we think (women speaking out about sexual assault and how men and supporters respond, for example). With this New Moon, Mercury offers a kind of protection against overdoing it with regards to opening to new ways of thinking. And…
We have Venus in Scorpio offering us new ways to communicate. Venus is WHAT we think about, WHAT we communicate about. WHAT we desire and desire to communicate about. So Venus leads the conversations. And they’re changing. Note that in Scorpio, we’re seeing long and deeply hidden sexual issues, assaults, perversions, etc. coming to light, being talked about. How are we going to talk about them? How are we going to handle them? How are we going to learn, grow, heal, transform, be compassionate, be more open and love more deeply?
There are a number of energies that are traditionally connected with war, enemies, destruction – especially for immature and greedy reasons. However, there are also some energies, powerfully feminine energies, that are transforming culture through ways other than violence and war. These are principles that everyone needs to cultivate and share. And everyone is capable of manifesting and living these principles. Everyone.
One of the best ways we can connect with these principles of transformation continues to be to seek out your unique and highly Divine purpose for being here – as individuals and societies. And share it all. Compassion, tolerance for differences, justice and truth, love and remembering all life is one…these all continue to be important as well.
There is an energetic shift that is helping to create a societal and personal shift. It feels like the Divine Feminine has a greater hand now in how things are being done.
We have our work to do here, too. As Divine Beings in this Earth experience, we are here to do our part in this shift.
During this Moon cycle, be especially mindful of what you say and how you say it – think and feel before you speak. Make it truthful, and let it come from you heart. You can speak your truth, set your boundaries, or whatever, and still come from compassion, tolerance, and the understanding that we’re all one.
There’s also a shift in words themselves. For example, we refer to “traffic” as a living thing. However, within traffic there are individuals – people driving cars, people on bikes, people in buses, even people crossing the street. When we say “traffic”, it keeps us separated from the fact that people, individual people, are within traffic – unique and blessed souls. Traffic can still be awful, but to shift the images, feelings and awareness of what makes up the traffic can make it an altogether different experience and shift our own way of being in this world.
Especially with this New Moon, be kind to yourselves and everyone around you. And everything on Mama Earth, Mama Earth included.
Brightest Blessings to you
