We had that lovely full Moon in Sagittarius, bringing to light our vision and our desire to be joyful, free, and expressing our dreams and heart & soul’s desires. Then we slammed hard into Pluto, Saturn, Mars and Mercury – our fears, things falling apart, illusions that we use to stop ourselves and others from being light and free, and our fears about taking action.
The big players this week are Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn opposite Mars and Mercury in Cancer.
This energy combination is going to hit our emotions and needs hard. We have energies that cause fear and big changes for us opposite our needs for care, comfort, security. And a need to take action and fight for a cause.
Karma plays a big role here, too. Watch for things that feel like there’s some kind of karmic connection. You may also discover the karma in relationships that have been perplexing.
Pluto can feel scary and dark to us mortals. It’s mission is to take us through the fire to purify us and help us let go of what no longer serves us. Especially if we’re unaware of what to release. Humans tend to resist change – even if it’s healthy and what’s best for them. Pluto has no emotional connection to holding on to old, unnecessary things.
In Capricorn, it’s going to be about things we fear, holding on to something(s) because we’re afraid of the unknown and change, so we hold on to things even if they hurt us.
This degree of Pluto in Capricorn is really lovely, though. Oh, Pluto is still packing it’s own unique punch, but the idea is lovely. This Pluto in Capricorn is helping us realize that the Universe is giving us positive recognition for fulfilling our responsibilities, regardless of the outcome. We took them on with honor and we stayed with them through the illusion of the ego and 3rd dimension “rules”. This is about the relationship between individuals and society. Each has responsibilities, and there must be trust between them in order for things to be accomplished. There is a kind of balancing of accounts going on.
What’s to be released? That depends on each of us individually. It could be the beliefs you hold about how you’re supposed to be in a particular relationship. It could be how you view and value your creativity. It could be how you view the money you make from your career. It could be how you spend each day taking care of your body and spirit. And so much more. This transit feels powerful enough that we can each know what’s going on within us. Don’t worry if you’re not feeling it too hard. It really depends on where these energies fall in your natal chart. For example, Pluto and Saturn are currently in one of my very loaded houses. Let’s just say, it’s pretty clear what’s going on with my life right now!
If they’re in a house of yours that doesn’t have any other planets, then you may not be feeling this as much. But rest assured you’re transforming, too!
We still need to have that trusting relationship between individuals, groups, and society, but this set of energies is clearing out the lower vibrating energies that maintain the illusions of “life is supposed to be hard”, be afraid of the “other”, don’t trust anyone/thing that’s different from you. This clearing out will help us shift to the higher vibrations, where we still need to trust, but we'll be able to communicate more effectively from a place of caring and loving , responsible, powerful, heart-centered action.
The opposition of Mercury and Mars in Cancer is about literally transforming the hardware of our thinking, and working through our fears about caring for one another and making sure we are caring for Mama Earth, too. That’s Mercury – how we think. Mars is the action we take, the courage we find in our hearts to take chances and the new worlds and adventures we’re ready to explore.
And that’s the new world of caring. Deep and active caring. To face fears and unknown ideas and possibilities and care anyway. This degree of Cancer is about facing what is, AND imagining what might BE. And communicating with one another about what might be.
We’re clearing out the barriers, the fears, the karma and the 3rd dimensional responsibilities that keep us prisoners to ego and an ego-world. That’s not to say that we no longer have to pay the electric bill and so on. This is about a shift in consciousness and the falling away of false disconnections and walls. This is a time too honor what we’ve done and let go of the mental and emotional chains that keep us from soaring.
This is about connecting to one another with our visions from our hearts and from a place of deep caring and kindness. It’s about releasing the fears that are the illusionary walls that keep us separate and make it hard to care for one another and the Earth.
As tough as this week has been/is, when we step forward, having embraced the transformation and releasing our fears, then the view, the feelings, the connections, and the future will be magnificent. The full Moon earlier this week, along with other beautiful energies, is right there with us, filling in the spaces where fears, pain, and walls used to be with love and light. Without the chains of fear, we can truly begin to actually take the action of building that magnificent future together.
